2001
The Idea
Gima-Bambot MedTech Ltd., was founded on a personal crisis. In 1995, the founder’s grandmother required urgent surgery that was severely delayed by the critical scarcity of basic medical supplies, such as quality sutures. Driven by this realisation of systemic failure, he launched Gima-Bambot International Ltd., in 2001 to directly support and strengthen the Cameroonian healthcare system while generating dignified employment.

Strategic Partnership with B.Braun
In March 2003, Gima-Bambot International Ltd., forged a bold visionary alliance with B.Braun Group – one of the world’s most respected German medical technology leaders.. This partnership was ignited by a deep shared conviction: no patient in Cameroon should ever be denied timely, saving care simply because advanced medical devices were out of reach. Together, we introduced cutting-edge technologies to local hospitals while providing comprehensive training, professional education, and consulting services. This long-term alliance strengthened Cameroon’s healthcare system, empowered clinicians with new skills and reliable tools, and laid the foundation for Gima-Bambot MedTech Ltd., mission to deliver faster, more integrated care.
